This aint Japan/Taiwan remember.

And then there's the rivalry between Auckland and Hamilton.. a BIG reason why this wont happen. Could you imagine NZ and Australia joining? :shock:
The rapidly growing Auckland and Hamilton populations have to go someplace...it'll most likely be towards each other.
