Not as good because of the earth's curvature but this still usually works well:

http://www.jma.go.jp/en/gms/index.html? ... 0&mode=UTC

Looks better if you click on Large then Color.

Doesn't seem to be up-to-date or are they delaying it now :?

EDIT: you might need to go through the main page:

http://www.jma.go.jp/en/gms/index.html

then choose SE Quadrant as the Region....

I like this one alot..
http://www.goes.noaa.gov/sohemi/sohemil ... mscol.html
Sadly that MT-SAT cuts NZ out New Plymouth southwards..

http://www.ghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/GOES/globalir.html
That compo one uses the GOES-10 satellite for the North Island.. which means it updates much quicker than MT-SAT :)

http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/geo/mtsat/
Closest thing ive found for NZ that looks like that airforce satellite page.

Hope that helps

marvelous !
thanks for sharing!

so....is something gonaa happen to give us rain here or what?
or is the drought to continue.....farmers around here are looking at having to dry their cows off early
(the last bif of rain just roted the dry grass that was there, and the new grass growth is very fine and only a little bit, so no value in it yet, and so things actauly get worse after rain)
