Some good towers going up at the mo, but they are hitting something up there thats limiting development to a point.

may lead to some afternoon showers which may aid in fixing the cracks in my lawn :?

While the subject is a bit misleading it's the content that matters.

The full subject should be:
Auckland weather ...is quite boring I know, but there must be a tad of instability about today, i even saw some castellanus out to my west just before.
But that would be a bit long ;)

I think I've forgotten what thunder sounds like :?

Hate to say it, some rain would be a bonus, the garden is too dry and the tanks need topping up.

Cheers,

G

Looks like a line of instability with that front, currently near Taranaki.
Daytime heating of the land will turn the front thundery, particularly over the Waikato this afternoon.

Fine clear morn in Auckland with 16C.
