farmers rely on rain
we are still needing rain , in this area, we have just record another way below normal rain month, there has been only a few above normal rain months in the last year and half in the auckland area
rain gives life to this planet
if it was not for farmers, NZ would not be what it is today, as they are the biggest export earner
its no joke michael

yes,10mm on top of what we got last sunday is really good
follow up rain like that is what is the key
eased somewhat here now
the big CB's to our NNW have moved SE , to be north of us?
this warm front is hard to see on the sat image, the scrappy high cloud blocks its view
barometer has not dropped.....much...
17oC here, so the warm front still to cross us
i see ricky got 18mm, more than us here...

Yikes thats 959 if that stays much like that looking at that could be some severe winds there but it is a wee way out yet.
Cloud is increasing here with lower level cloud being sucked into the upper level cloud so certainly some rain this afternoon.
16C very light NE.
Cheers
Jason.

I think the West Coast will get a few good thunderstorms over tonight and into tomoro. Along with a few other factors they also have the best cape I have seen them have in a while.
