Thunder

Unread post by Flutterbye »

Just sitting here at the computer 1 minute ago and a big clap of thunder. Don't know where that came from - shook the house

anymore details, Lyn?
Did you rush outside to see what could be the cause?
Did you turn the radio on (on the AM band....higher frequencies are the best)to see if there are further sferics?
What was the current condition,ie a rise in barometer, any hint of a coming shower ....

Didn't run outside - don't know if there was any lightning because it's satellite tv, (no interference there  ) - barometer appears to be dropping slowly - we have now just had 1mm rain with a reasonably gusty NNW wind.

There has been no more thunder but I am on edge now just in case
