Imagine if a small child had been walking past when that happened. Even more frightening if it blocked a cafe accessway

Whats the value of the damage. I trust you will be arranging for out of town insurance assesors to drop there duties down in the South to rush to the aid of our Auckland comrades.
Its time like these when our heart goes out to all those poor unfortunate souls affected by this horror.

As a Canterbury man stuck up here in the thick of it I urge the southern fraternity to dig into their pockets and raise plenty of money for the appeal- I don't think insurance covers this type of calamity
