Hoping this weather is a little bit further South this time....keeping Flutterbye content with 35cm and the same here and of course not wanting to forget about our Northern neighbours 25cm...
If only forecasting was that easy.
That would do nicely thank you very much Janos  Was very mild here today as well - I recorded 14.6, with a northwest arch keeping the sun away and mainly northerly breezes. It's been raining since 5pm with 5mm falling and a NNE breeze.

Certainly can't fit the amount which may fall but I can say we most likly will see flakes falling from the sky at some stage to sea level. 8)
The snowstorm everyone has been talking about on the 10th July looks to be a wee way out after then more perhaps on the 12-13th July.
Good Northerly flow developing early next week shows good signs of something but we will get through this first I think :D .
Cheers

John if the first 3 days of July are anything to go by then you have hit the nail on the head. July has been a warm month so far.

I see the MetService are going for a high of 7°C tomorrow.. thinking that's a bit too high.. BlueSkies look more onto it, going for a max of 3°C

Freezing level should only drop to around 900m over the Central North Island during moist southeasterlies, Thursday morning at this stage.

Looks like tonight's thunderstorm risks will slide through around midnight, Auckland northwards.

Sun here is doing it's best to break through :) lol, quite right Flutterbye! :D

Interesting day with the forecast of snow for Christchurch...seems to be differing opinions on how much but I suppose time will tell!....Dunedin Airport 17 degrees today and Kaikoura 16...something must be brewing!
