Auckland - interesting 5 July
Earlier today we had some spectacular fog roll in, and under the smog layer it was very photogenic (will post a picture when I get home tonight)
Right now at midday there is some interesting looking convection around with Tcu and quite a lot of sheer. Could get interesting later on?

yes some good wintry buildups today, think there must be some instability about.
cant get a decent sounding at the mo so cant see where the tops are at.
there is a low t/s risk too, so we should at least get some afternoon precipitation.
hope everyone is well, i have been in the south island working on a goldmine project (wankers!! - the gold miners that is) so have been slack on the post front
