temps getting warmer

Unread post by mikestormchaser »

hi folks. I have noticed that the tempertures have been qiute warm over the last three days, with highs about the mid teens. And Metservice in particular are forcasting highs from about 14C to 16C for the next 3 days is well. So just wondering is somthing brewing with these above average highs or is spring here early?

Sure felt and smelt like Spring here. The birds looked bewildered, the grass has done some growing.

Still a normal temperature in Chch for the time of year, but you'd think it would be warmer in a northwesterly flow. Layer of northwest arch cloud looks to be keeping the themometer down yesterday and today. This type of cloud seems to block out more sunlight than most other clouds, except thunder/cb clouds.
