I don't think so. Barometer too high and the anticyclone is closing on, in

I think we may see breif period of scatterd rain overnight with that warm front moving in although should be clearing up by afternoon tomorrow.
Then it's back to boring calm conditions  .
Until later next week.

I have a reading of -1.7° right now - feels rather crisp after a couple of mild nights :)

Supposed to get a bit worse by early tomorrow with more frequent showers and snow to about 600m, but not a major storm or polar blast.
Not even drizzle this morning in Chch, just cloudy. And cloud has been breaking this afternoon with clear sunny patches, though still cold. Noon map shows the warm front that was supposed to moving onto us is now disintegrating.

A bit of drizzle out at West Melton this morning. 0.5mm in the gauge.
Roads all wet.
Interesting cloud this afternoon, including a high level rainbow.
plus a display of Kelvin-Helmholtz cloud later in the afternoon towards the Alps.
