Animated and with lightning and rainfall overlays? I guess this was (or is) a premium offering, maybe it's a mistake for non-member plebs to see?

If it is ongoing - it looks great! :D

i would suspect that those tick box settings only apply to the ozy maps?
but i could be wrong
(ticking them does not do anything on the nz weather map?)

Cool, this looks great  :D The lightning box seems to work, I'm still waiting for it to load to try the rest. I wish MS had some of the stuff WZ has. :?

Here's a couple of questions for you guys. How come MS doesn't use the infra red sat animations that xtra.co.nz uses on its weather page they are more detailed, i'll put some images below in a moment. Also, the historical archive of analysis images use colour and they look really good. It's a shame they don't use those two variations all the time.

The lightning plot is looking really good! seems very accurate at least for the tasman to NZ and very easy to read :)
I assume It must be from an Australian lightning detection network as the plots are not from the NZ network or any private ones I know of, be interesting to see how well it covers inland NZ..
