U2 Weather

Unread post by spwill »

U2 play two outdoor concerts in Auckland next weekend. :D
The weather looks like it will be breezy and cool with showers for the Friday night concert but probably dry for the Saturday night concert. :)

The latest GFS suggests thunderstorms could come into the equation.. well, about Waikato/Central Plateau at least.

Nice trough to come through. :-k

A weakening line showers to cross the area shortly, looks like just a few brief light showers for the city.

Ahh the good 'ol Auckland weather came to the party... it was pretty wet and windy until after Kanye got off.. then it was dry and it warmed up in the eclipse. That was unbelievably awesome.

Had to laugh at Bono's lyrics.. mixed in "Auckland, four seasons in one day" in Beautiful Day... he got that right!! LOL

Then at the end with the freedom bird/kite.. taken into the sky by helium balloons.. well te good 'ol SW'er put a stop to that.. LOL!!

Amazing concert, words can't really describe?. :P

Clinton, South Otago would have been the right place for it.
