Thanks Santa, even though you were a day late.

Nice active storm has just passed over as I type. Rumbles in the distance. I took about 40 pictures with the digital hoping to catch a flash. No luck but out SW it looks to be building again :)

Trying to light the BBQ in between ;)

Impressive Cb's in Foveaux Strait this afternoon.Lots of z TCu over land which are glaciating periodically into Cb Capillatus. The westerly has arrived with 30 kts frequent gusts. Quite mild though

Looks like you guys had some fun! A hot day here in Chch as could be seen by the days high of 28 degrees which included Blehnim and Timaru or it might of been Ashburton, very windy to. Our turn could be this Sunday, we'll have to see.
