Report Your Frost or (How low did you go)
Just thought I would start a new thread for the reporting of frosts.
Got down to -7.0c here at 07:50, very hard frost, very clear sunny morning but still -4.2c now.

-6.6 here, reading taken from the Lincoln Library site - I think we're probably a little lower being rural. I have not seen one so heavy in the 3 years we've been here, we have an amazing amount of ice INSIDE the windows of the kitchen & bathroom (unfortunately both uninsulated because they are in the lean-to on the back of the house). Pipes are frozen too. Brrrrrrrr. Beautiful day though. Makes it all worth while

-1.9°C here. Which doesn't sound low but for where I am that's the coldest I ever had.
And I have no water... frozen pipe outside

There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes.

My weather station at Lake Ohau reported -9.5 °C at 06:59, which is the low for that station this year.
The low reported by my station in Omarama was -8.5 °C at 08:41 and the lowest recorded so far this year was -10.4 °C at 08:24 on June 22nd.
It's been a relatively mild year compared to last June when we got down to -14 °C-ish.

Sure was cold this morning indeed and will be again overnight too.
I would say its about -2C out there already and going for a simular frost to this mornings, ohh how lovly to start the working week .
Yes a week of anticylonic gloom ahead with a few days of light drizzly dizmal, however there could be something around the corner in the following week. But it is certainly not time to start getting excited about that just yet.
No matter how good or bad, bleak or sunny there will always be weather.
Cheers
Jason.
