New weather format in NZ Herald

Comments please.
Nothing has changed except more colour and a huge north island.no south island and still big gaps in the data like sunshine etc

NZ Herald??? Is that a new newspaper? I've never heard of it.

they seem to have dropped the extremes last 7 days in the new format in the Herald
thats a shame

At least is has month-to-date data for several locations - unlike the bloody DomPost which doesn't even tell you yesterday's conditions for any town outside the urban area!! :roll: :evil:

And they still don't know there are 2 days in a weekend...

I like the Situation in the PRESS, Christchurch PRESS that is.
It reads as if 4 or 5 forecasters have posted together a paragraph with each forecaster having deciding on what will happen on a particular day that they have been allocated to, without knowing what each other forecaster has said or forecasted?
