The forum has never had a spell checker?

Some browsers do have spell checkers, though?

There is no spell check on the forum as far as I'm aware... it will be your browser that does that

Hi there I'm new to forum, But have been viewing it for a while to get weather information. Question, why did people's locations disappear from their posts a couple months back? It can be little unhelpful if someone posts a comment like - "southerly just came through here can here thunder to my southwest."
Will the locations be made visible again likely?

I can still see the location information ok. It might be helpful to Willo if you provided browser & OS info.

Thank you for your feedback - with the upgrade recently it cleared any mods we had. Thankfully this is now an option I can turn on which must be filled out when registering. (done)

The locations however should be viewable still - can you please provide screenshots? Is this for everyone?

Thank you.

Here's a screenshot from current December weather. No locations beside name. But if I click on name it brings up their location.

I didn't know you meant the mobile version! :-)

This could be a bit to find a solution for this as the style just 'responds' to a small screen size and isn't a separate template. Zoom to at least 280% if you're viewing on a desktop computer to see what I mean. But I'll see what can be done.

I've been thinking :-k
Instead of clogging up threads with severe weather warnings/ watches/ thunderstorm outlooks, etc., which you can see on the MS Website anyway, why not start up a seperate topic for Weather Warnings etc. to record for historical use. I find it annoying to see a posting and all it's is what I've just read on the MW Website.

I sent an email to MS once why don't they number their warning and watches.
ie, warning No 23 cancels No 21.
In the railways they had an excellent system of what they call Train Advices which were all numbered and one cancelled the other by number.
It would make things much simpler.
Haven't heard back from them.

I just re-set my preferred "board style" option back to the way I had it yesterday - it seemed to have changed itself to "Pro Silver Special Edition" which I had not asked it to do :-k

That's strange. I did do an upgrade yesterday of the files and database though not sure why it did that.

I've implemented a 'thanks for post' extension to hopefully facilitate high quality posting. This is not visible to non-users or guests. Just need to add Tapatalk compatibility which will come soon.

What are the thread ratings that are now showing up? They seem to changing frequently, yet there doesn't actually appear to be a way to rate the thread yourself. Not sure it's a very useful feature.

I think there is a bug when you edit posts with attachments with more than one attachment.

When you edit a post that has more than one attachment, it only lists one attachment, and not the rest of them so you cant delete any.

Thanks Tim - seems it's something the developers overlooked on testing a bit.

I've patched this bug now and is working again as normal.

Is there a known problem uploading some images? I was trying to post a thunderstorm outlook image from metservice but there is warning icon which when clicked displays the message "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct."

Instead I have to use windows snipping tool to get as screenshot. Strange thing is that both are PNG images, the raw file from MS is not accepted but the second one is.

In what context do you mean 'raw' file? I just tested the uploader and it seems to be working as intended.
