Ruapehu is not going very well either because of lots of mist/cloud/drizzle and not much snow....number of skiers is way down at the moment

I don't ski unfortunately, so that dosen't worry me really
I couldn't master the learners tow, so I gave up for life.
Besides skiing, with golf, I could never hit the ball, so I gave that up as well for life
I'm very good at Morris Dancing tho' and have been doing that for 20 years or so

"Queenstown and North Island ski fields are reported to be having a reasonable season..."
That's what happens when you ask people who've already displayed a willingness to bend the truth.
The skiers I've heard talking have complained about the lack of snow on all SI skifields.

Never tried skiing. Have skated around a bit without falling over.
Tried golf a few times, loathed it - why would anyone do it for pleasure?
Think I can resist Morris dancing. It's not camp enough.
