Re: July summary
Fairly wet but then again its Auckland in mid winter
But however it was a fairly good month apart from the period into the 3rd and 4th week with the gloomy anticyclonic gloom but overall without the SW that we normally get and lots of E especially the 1st 3 weeks

Re: July summary
NIWA summary:
http://niwavessels.co.nz/ncc/cs/0707sum.pdf" target="_blank
It should be noted that the combined June-July temperature departure for NZ is -0.2C (-0.6C for June, +0.2C for July). NIWA's temp. prediction for the winter period will be OK unless August is very cold (unlikely, I think).

Re: July summary
I meant departure from mean, not the combined anomaly - should have made that clearer.
