Hazy days and hazy nights
Yesterday and today were unusually hazy around Dunedin and Eastern Otago. It looked smokey. I saw the sky this evening and it was a kind of reddish orange, which made me think it might be Aussie dust.

Apparently there is a total fire ban for the New South Wales far north coast, but I've heard nothing of any significant fires.
Would not expect fires over there - only September?

Which is why its more likely to be dust than smoke.David wrote:Apparently there is a total fire ban for the New South Wales far north coast, but I've heard nothing of any significant fires.
