No thunderstorms there so probably a landspout from cumulus in the right conditions. 24C in Nelson with northerlies, southeasterlies aloft and northwesterlies aloft that.

Haven't heard anything about the Waikawa T - just got home to Mahau Sound from Blenheim - cold SE - NO rain at all, boy the farmland around is burnt off. Hills gone completly brown, had no rain for 30 or so days now. Its looking pretty grim for us. Maybe Monday ????

he said it was cloudy there ,and darker looking clouds over Picton way
