TV1 News had no todays temperatures tonight.dont think they were on last night to.

Yes, I mentioned this on another thread in the Weather Blogs section under the NZ Daily Maximum Temps thread.
Jim hasn't mentioned the maximums for the last 3 day's possibly because of the seriousness of the recent weather we are having.?
"WeatherMad" ie. Richard Green comes 'out of the blue' and puts these maximums up on the weather blog, but we haven't heard from him for a while.

I also noticed that there were no Australia/Pacific forecasts tonight.

Jim said tonight that it was back to the temperatures.
Surely, if even under severe weather scenarios, this info should be retained.
I like to know where the max and mins are for the country because sometimes it can be quite interesting or boring with Kataia in winter continually being NZ's warmest town and Invercargill/Dunedin or even Waiouru being the coldest.

I'm not to sure of the date, but one day Invercargill had the maximum and Auckland had the minimum?. R Wood maybe able to track the date down. It was in the summer time of course.
