I am sick of cloud names being mixed up which are completely the same, so i am going to express my frustration and listing my current conflicting cloud names.
If any of you that find a conflicting cloud type please list it here.
Please correct me if if i get anything wrong.
Conflicts I have found:
Altocumulus Makerel Sky with Altocumulus Prelucidus
Altocumulus Undulatus with Translucidis
Which 1 is more P.C?
Please by all means add more..........i want to know how many scientists have doubled up!
Doubled up cloud names!

Re: Doubled up cloud names!
I don't think anyone uses the specific terms for clouds. Just the 10 generic names.

A good time to pull out Fermi's quote here:
"Young man, if I could remember the names of these particles, I would have been a botanist!"

I think on the Wikipedia you should be able to find the answer, at least about the Mackerel Sky ...

Wikipedia can be changed by anyone so nothing is official. It would be nice if there was a source that was the official cloud database.
