metservice surface obs

Unread post by drop-in »

I saw Graeme's post
http://www.weatherforum.org.nz/forum/vi ... .php?t=322
with his excel program to convert upper air data from the metservice...
http://www.metservice.co.nz/observations/index.asp

I've have an excel program to convert the surface data, I'm sure other people have done the same, probably Brian's got something.
This excel program will automatically get all the info from the website (if you're online) and display it.
I'm fairly poor at presenting the info nicely, and don't know about bugs, although the flies are being blown away in palmy

I'll see if I can attach it...
hmm no xls extensions, would be silly to allow that I suppose.

Flick it to me via email and I'll host it somewhere if you want.

Here is a link to download Pete's surface data spreadsheet: Right click and save target as.

http://www.powerlink.co.nz/~graeme/Surface%20Data.zip

It is zipped and 167kb to download.

I'll have to update mine so it's as flash as this one!
