Early Autumnal Fog

Honestly aint it great to have a morning so bright and cool and have breakfast on the verandah. Especially when you have these views to start your day.

We get mists like that here in West Melton. Good for horse mushrooms \:D/

Perfect weather for the Baloons Over Waikato festivle. Could you see them thismorning or are you too far away?

The north view from our home is obscured by large trees so they need to be further south before any balloons would be visible :(
Its better to burn out than fade away......zzzzzzzzzzzzt ow!!

Flew up to Hamilton so see some of Balloons over Waikato.

Wednesday morning was perfect for the Mass Ascent but it was cancelled in the arvo due to winds above 8 kts.

Thursday morning's Dawn Patrol was also abandoned because of the fog which got even worse after sunrise :(

Just got word that its still VERY thick fog in the waikato. If it was more in the middle of the year it would definitly be one of those days where the fog doesnt lift all day. It should lift by mid arvo i would think at this time of year.

Started to lift by 11.00 AM Quite thick too.
