NW becoming prominent now. I think today is buggered. Air will be drying out as a result.
There was some Cu development in TC which surprised me.
Barometer has ceased in it's downward movement.
IT's 7 and half/ 8 blue skies at the moment.
NW blowing like "40 illegitimate children" at the moment.

Judging by your photos John, they nearly got to be thunderstorms. By the way, where is TC?

I'm still taking some photos. will post them up later on.

Paul, TC is the inland area possibly around the MT. Somers area as viewed from here.
I call it a corner as it is the area viewed from my room here in West Melton, where I have noticed development of westerly storms that have moved over Canterbury.

Oh  I though Bay and Plenty???

Anyway. Glaciated. now cloud still taking hold as observed from here. No electrical stuff in it and you can see clear skies in behind.
Looks like a mid-level roll or wall cloud waiting to pounce over, but everything seems to be moving eastwards.
however...
