What a perfect day!

Unread post by Willoughby »

After classical Hamilton fog, we're bathed in a clear sunny day.
21c, hardly a breath of wind. Perfect! Just a few clouds about the western hills. Perfect for the balloons tonight by the lake :D

If only every day was like this...

More fog tomorrow forecast :D

That's excellent! I wish I was there for the big balloon event. Post some pics if you're able.
The weather has been somewhat dismal the last couple of days in Omarama, which is unusual. Warm, highish humidity, and 6-8/8 cloud. It's beginning to clear, and just masses of overlapping lenticular stuff floating about now though.

It was like the Gold Coast today but sure the South West gales will just be around the corner. If we never got those SW we would have a good climate(enough NE to bring rain then N-NW or SE inbetween) :D

Not taking any pics of the balloons this year, but here are some from last year. The weather also came to the party :D

What a better day 8)

If i'm not mistaken, according to WeatherBase's records, we're equal to the Hamilton April temperature of 24c.

Looking at the situations on the weather channel, the nearest temperature is Whakatane on 21c.

Lovin this! :D

It's now very dry in the North .
I did a drive North of Auckland today to the beautiful beaches of Matapouri and Sandy Bay near Whangarei. The countryside up there has turned Golden yellow.

...on the other hand, a real crappy day here in Christchurch, where we have a lowcloud cover all day with the odd bit of drizzle and a cool ENE wind. :(

It's gonna pack-down this coming Monday in Northern Districts, esp. Auckland. Rain is foreign to me now :(

A great photo of Matapouri Foggy Hamilton, the Tutukaka Coast is one of the most beautiful parts of NZ. :D
The weather next week looks cooler so we better enjoy this warm weather while we have it.

Apparently it was a perfect day in Hanmer today - 26C max according to TV1 Weather. One day earlier in the month (8th) it only got up to 2C there and was snowing most of the day! :?
