Saw a few C-C flashes here in Templeton and heard about 10 rumbles of thunder, some overhead. Heavy rain which then turned torrential for a couple of minutes with spouting overflowing - the weather station recorded a peak rain rate of 120mm/h with a total of 8.4mm in about 25 minutes.

Roger that, I'll should add something in for that :P. The cloud has dumped its load, the rain was heavy and I stood out in it to "feel" part of the action.

Looks as though the higher prefrontal westerly has moved it out to sea and now it has weakoned.
Interesting as it formed just north of TC, moved northwards and then went right-handed direction out to sea.
Nice one  as I have threatoned to close this thread because of nature's lack of interest in it, thunder that is. [-X
