PWS in Manurewa recorded 30.6C this arvo (think it's fairly reliable?) and Runciman recorded 29.0C.

Probably same as Auckland ,light winds dry much of the day then occasional rain developing later today or tonight with SW developing in the evening.

24/22 right now. its a sauner! after yesterdays unbarable heat we shut the house up and have had the heat pump cooling the house all night and all day. inside is a chilly 27.6 with a humidity of 41% and outside is a sultry 24 with humidity at 86%. just goes to show the difference in dry heat and damp heat.

Tonights a shoka! A DP of 21Â°C and a temp of 21.7Â°C The temp will hardly drop at all!
Its not going to be a good night for sleeping..........
