Hmmmm i see they talk about Horsham downs with a 2nd highest 1day rainfall of all time a 86mm. thats what i had fall here. i wonder if NIWA are using the station here or there is actually one in Horsham downs of their own? This is the first summary i have ever seen by NIWA that has a Horsham downs figure.

oh wait i lie.. i had 76mm. i knew i ended in a 6 lol. and i see records began in 1973. so they must have a site very close to me then. i might have to go looking for it.

It would be very interesting if they did use yours and Foggys station eh...... :)

oh wow that is very close! as the crow flies about 3kms and comparing our data could be very interesting since we are so close.
