Frosty here this morning but apparently not as severe as in town, that is in ChCh, where overnight rain had increased the frost value.

A light frost here too this morning after the overnight sleety rain cleared. If it had continued, I was expecting it to snow as it was down to 2C when I went off to bed last night.

Most places in Waipara seemed to get to -1. We had -2 in our frost forecasts for our clients initially, but revised that back to -1.5 later in the afternoon.
