Another 6.5mm from that... good.

Not wanting to Jinx it, I left the new camera at home today. I've got the old one with me though.

Looking good on the 1pm radar for Akld.

Yes, some good falls in the NE of Northland. I see Kerikeri-Weather managed to pick up 22mm this morn (mtd 63mm), and I think Kaikohe might be up around 30mm, although not as much elsewhere.

Low cloud is just breaking here now with the sun coming out, its been an overcast morning with a very fine misty drizzle.
So the front must be getting closer going by the radar, should be some patchy rain here within the hour.

for a change, auckand city central area has been getting the bulk of the rain!
3.6mm here now, but I see Ricky is up to 7.6mm and climbing!

Yes!!! very heavy and steady - a most welcome 20mm (total so far 42mm) from that last rain band that passed through here @ 15:00hrs - rain has now eased.

Yes, parts of the Far North like Kaikohe and Kaeo getting near 50mm, Kerikeri up to 40mm.

Just 4.2mm here so far today. :(

I think just a couple of strikes over Northland high ground, current Cb development over Northland may produce something thundery, may catch a heavy shower here in the next hr or two
