Temperature 9C at 7am for both Grey Lynn and Airport. Clear skies.

Low was 8C. Gfs was forecasting a low of 8C.

yeah, with a DP that was around 10C, not sure how it would drop to 5C for temperature, unless they were expecting a drier and colder airmass to have moved in?
10.9 C here at 7:30am, 9.2 was as cold as it got

Why is it we have more condensation today when on colder days we get less,is it the dew points? ie closer to the real temperature.

double glazing stops condensation :)

Metservice were 9C of todays high for Christchurch. One of the bigger mistakes from the Metservice. Although you can't really blame them there considering if that Norwesterly pushed through and the clouds cleared earlier 25 degrees was quite possible.

A tweet from metservice yesterday

" MetService MetService
Try metservice.com instead of metservice.co.nz today, we had a wee technical problem with a redirect. http://bit.ly/9BnUSO ^NB "
