Winter 2010 Summary

Unread post by spwill »

From Niwa, http://www.niwa.co.nz/__data/assets/pdf ... er2010.pdf

A positive aspect of NZ climate is the winter warmth over northern areas, kerikeri average max for the 3 months being 16.8C.

Enjoyed this story,
On 6 June, a large group of motorcyclists had to be rescued after they ignored the road closure signs, and
tried to ride over Danseys Pass. Snow was reportedly shoulder high near the summit.
