Hastings thunderstorm - 13/9

Unread post by kelhb »

Thunderstorms triggered here around lunch, sounded absolutely awesome, nice long rumbles but unfortunately I couldnt get outside or even near a window to see anything. Just showers on and off now..def didnt see that coming as it was stunningly clear blue skies this morning, think it may have caught Metservice out also as they updated to include at 1.20..
Please Sir, Id like some more :B

Yeah metservice for Hastings still states sunny, cloudless for today.

Saw a few ground strikes, and some inter-cloud strikes. I missed most of the downpour, seemed to be over Havers a bit more.

There was no mention, well I didn't see, on Jim's weather on TV One , although I did come on a bit late.

Used a Canon EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS

5 shots taken at 17mm then stitched in photoshop.
