it's 112 m tall! a beautiful example of european gothic!

It's very beautiful, Davide - I have some photos of it that were taken many years ago when my father was in Italy, 1944-46. Some of the famous churches, buildings, statues and towns of Italy have felt like part of my childhood because of the photos and postcards he brought back to NZ. It's lovely to see this in colour. Thankyou.

Yes; I'd always thought of stone as being 'grey' - but this is quite a warm colour, isn't it. Thankyou!
