NZ Boltek Status Page

I have just made up this page here: http://wx-matangi.dyndns.org/weather/wxnzbolteks.php

It shows where the current Boltek Lightning Detectors are located and what there status is.

All I need is permission from who ever owns a boltek to let me see the file time data that is provided to stormvue.

This can be done by replying or PM'ing me.

Hopefully this will help get more traffic to the less well known detectors out there and provide a place to see if any detector is down at the time they want to check lightning.

Feedback much appreciated on the page after all it is you people that will be looking at it :)

I wish I could do a thing like WASP (RADAR and lightning Overlay on a NZ Map) but since the Dopplers are not regular enough nor detailed enough, it won't be possible at this time.

Also if you find a boltek on the web (not on the list) in NZ could you let me know about it so I can add it.

you just reminded me to restart my stormvue....done that now...picking up what I assume are strikes way to my WSW...(and hopefully not electric fence inteference)

I presume you want to be added?

Your boltek seems about correct, you may need to rotate it a bit more to the north.
