living in NW grand central can be a pain in the ase in spring when it blows for days on end, but this time of year is a real bonus,today been the second day of a continual gentle wind,hoping it can carry on through tonight like it did last night again.

Just a light frost here this morning down to -1.0 degrees.

The wind petered in the early hours and there was a light one here too,NW then sprung back up again mid morning and is still blowing now at about 10-20kmp,i'm picking it should keep any frost away tonight, mind you there seems to be a bit of high cloud coming up from the south which will help also.

It froze here overnight with the temperature down to 0.2C in the screen. There was patchy frost on the ground early this morning.

Some frost on the houses down the hill this morning, only the 3rd time so far this year I have seen that. Still waiting for the first proper frost though, I think the coldest Nelson has had so far this year is 1.7C and that was way back at the end of April!
