Re: General April Weather
Wow, looking like we are going to get drowned overnight Mon/Tue, models in agreement too, albeit about 6 hours time difference between them.
I'll be watching this one as it develops.

Re: General April Weather
Some high cloud here today but plenty of sunshine , max was 21C.
I am heading down to Central Otago tomorrow so will escape the rain however the weather does look like it will be interesting over northeast NZ coming days.

Re: General April Weather
A good thunderstorm being picked up just south of New Caledonia by some NZ bolteks
The Flash rate got to 7/min at one stage, not bad for a very very distant storm!

make sure you are using the latest WD version for the Lightning 2000 integration Tim
we had a perfect day yesterday for out schools giant easter auction, after some showers/rain at times the day before
(everyone kept asking me what the weather was going to be like the next day, and I said it would be OK, the showers would blow through (causes be a new airmass colliding with an old air mass, creating convergence shower lines)

Re: General April Weather
The only thing that is actionable today is the pressure which is falling very rapidly according to my weather station, apart from that it's clouds and more clouds here today.

Re: Easter Weather
Pretty small temp range here the last 2 days, mid-teens at night and 20C in the day.
Looks like a min around 16 again tonight, ahead of a very wet day tomorrow

Thanks for all your Work with WD Brian, your awesome!
Turned cloudy here this afternoon which looked quite turbulent to the SSW (must have been to some form of heating).
16°C atm and 92% RH which means it most likely be a warmer night.

Re: Easter Weather
Plenty of leaves for "us" the next 10 days by the looks, wouldve been great to have easterlies after the leaves as it being a sideways wind would blow much of the needles out of the roof instead blow leaves in.As for weather mild, still and rainy.
