Metservice have max 13 min 3 for Auckland on Monday, and it has been that way for several forecast updates now. Sounds a bit too low!

Re: General May Weather
Yes. There were lots of juicy looking Cu towery build-ups today but rather weak and not delivering much apart from the best looking skies for ages. A sign showing La Nina on the wane here in Canterbury.

Re: General May Weather
Lovely day currently 16 degrees with blue dome skies.
Has been very mild lately average max temperature are running 2-3 degrees above normal. Normally by the begining of may there is little or no growth yet im still having to mow the lawns which is very unusual. Ive even noticed a few of the trees have a few buds on them .

Re: General May Weather
June average max for Auckland is 15.2C so we can call it a winter like day plenty of cloud cover, light winds, minimum was around 10C.
I see Timaru reached 20C however it is already down to 4.7C down there.
