its on the console too...not sure why that happened....ground loop spike or bad connection spike...dont know...
there was a change in humidity around then...maybe a freak gust...I was not at home at the time...

Quite an intense high in Canterbury today.
You woudn't think it judging by the clouds. Lots of unstable looking Cu popping up into the scattered SC layers.

Yes my barometer peaked at 1035mb today highest its been for a while.
Heading for a good frost tonight if the high cloud stays away down to 2 degrees now with ice on the cars.

A bit startling to have such wintry temperatures suddenly! frosty morning, only 4.2 deg. now. Thin high overcast, dull sunlight. No wind to speak of.

After having some of the coldest frosty mornings in the country the first 3 or so days of this week it seems it has reversed around this area so others have got them and this time CHCH has the cloud and breeze to prevent them this morning. 12 degrees at the moment with a NE averaging 30km/h gusting to 40km an hour currently.

Pretty miserable with heavy dense drizzle in the city when I left around 2pm. Interestingly there's been no rain here (Howick) since before 9am.
