Fiji bound 737 over Mangonui

Unread post by tgsnoopy »

A friend of mine took these two photos:
737#1.jpg
737#2.jpg
He says the dark line in front of the plane was clearly visible even to his eye, which presumably is why he took the photo. I can't offer any explanation, anyone got any ideas?

The dark line will be shading off the aircraft. Must have been some haze up there.

You could be right there, Steven. I can remember seeing something like this in Central Otago with planes flying across from Mamona (Dunedin International Airport) to Aussie.
