Deep Tasman Low - Feb 22-24
Nice low developed over Queensland which brought squally storms over that region and now the low has deepened a little over the Tasman in the past few days.
Squally storms are starting to develop I see behind the front.

Ok at Eden park so far! Yes, please send 20mm for ChCh gardens. Then clear the mountains tomorrow as I'm away tramping Friday-Sunday at Arthurs pass. Too greedy?

Re: Deep Tasman Low - Feb 22-24
swimming sports at school today
I have said to them to go ahead...(they are going to get wet anyway)
we have had the first frontal line come through
but the second frontal line looks like it going to hang back a bit, and get left behind and the low moves away (the wind is dropping)
so it might not clear as quickly as I thought
thoughts peoples?

Re: Deep Tasman Low - Feb 22-24
The front is through now with the atmosphere becoming more stable this afternoon. Given the high humidity looks like drizzly showers to come.
