Re: General May Weather
A mainly cloudy evening here, maybe we won't get down to 5 degrees after all (which I would have guessed if it had been clear ) A dry day in the city but there was a brief heavy shower around 11.20am in Howick.

Re: General May Weather
Temperature dropping quickly again this evening, already down to 9°C here under perfectly calm conditions. The dewpoint is not quite as low as yesterday though, so perhaps it will be slightly warmer than last night.

Re: General May Weather
Lowest minimum for the season so far recorded here this morning at 0.6C, a very light layering of ice on the windscreen this morning enough to need the warm water over the top.
Perhaps down to as low as -2C in some inland sheltered areas, maybe a repeat tonight if cloud cover stays away.
