"Next"? looks more like SW to me. The Met 10-day outlook simply talks about a NW/SW alternation.

Yes something to watch.
Hopefully June weather will be more interesting than May has been , a lot of anticyclonic influence in our weather this May, just the one unstable week mid month.

Temp. has been up to 13 degrees here this morning with a nor'westerly;
now falling as a fresh to strong south-easterly breeze bustles in;
low cloud coming in with that, while above it clouds still coming over from the west.

Thought the cloud may have cleared over night and there would have been a frost,but no,still cloudy and there's even a light NE wind which is very unusual to have a wind from that direction this time of the morning ,currently 5deg.

The majority of the long weekend here has been overcast with about 10mm overnight Saturday. Temps as per usual in the low to mid teens, today is no exception. Could be worse & absolutely belting down, although drizzle is on the cards for today, nothing has eventuated yet.

A very mild evening in Auckland for June, currently 16C.
