Cloud seems to have 'closed in' a little over the last hour here;
sky has that lavender-bruised look to the east.
Temps. falling reasonably quickly in last half-hour: now 1.5deg.

I have an appointment in Ashburton tomorrow morning - anyone care to comment on the state of the streets in town?

Hoping it doesn't freeze too ferociously 8-o
and you folks take care further north ;-)

id like to think going into the evening would bring the moisture up alil more aswel as it normally does, so hopefully we can get another couple of hours worth of snow even if its just light stuff! :D
Either way im over the moon that this event took place!!

Last of the snow hanging on before it sees us through. Looking ahead the next week we have a few cold southerly flicks in a what is a dominant southerly flow. Would expect snow to reasonably low levels with these as well but probably more to 300m or so and only brief stuff.
