Just seen on the internet news the article about the southerly set to stay for the next three days and snow lowering in Canterbury down to 200m tonight. Anyone have a view on whether we'll get more snow in the city or the outer rural areas from this next cold snap?

That article is based on the snow forecast we put out nearly 24 hours ago. Granted not much has changed in that time, although the precipitation amounts are a little lower. You might see the odd flake float past the window if you're lucky and very observant, but otherwise you'd need to get above about 200m.
