Hey

Unread post by Thunder081 »

Hey I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but yeah.

My name is Matt I'm 18 from Wellington and I've been interested in wild weather for much of my life. I joined this forums years ago after some people from here messaged me on YouTube encouraging me to join. This was the first forum I had joined and I didn't really get into it. This is a new account because I can't remember what my first accounts name was haha.

But yeah some you would have probably seen some of my weather videos:

Don't know about Flickr..? :P

Here's some pretty cool lightning shots of that severe thunderstorm that hit Wellington on Monday :)

I want to be a storm chaser later in my life chasing in tornado alley.
I hope to be active on this forum as I will check it every time there is a storm heading our way.

Awesome clip of the Wellington lightning thunder081, looks like it was a nice storm for people on the south coast there.

You can't beat cold upper air for turning on a good lightning show!

Yes, hey, we need more stormy members on this forum from the Wellington region, so welcome.
Sadly, I'm becoming an old "Thunder-dude" being chasing thunderstorms for the last 30 odd years in the Canterbury region.Good to see new thunderstormists coming on line.

Cool Thunder081. I'm from Kapiti Coast and also a storm & cloud nutter. Maybe we could swap notes of what's heading each others way. I'm putting my pix on: http://community.webshots.com/user/railexcursionz2

Yeah it was really slow moving here's a rain radar picture of it, you can see the white dot, all the lightning seemed to be coming from that point and yes they are video stalls.
