Wind has backed SW 30kts (just for you Michael)...... cell now to the south of Auckland airport.

Looks like its now out towards Pukekohe, temp down to 12C now with the SW zephyr which has dropped to 10-20kts.

yes i saw the rain on the window(that normally buckles) btw 2 more strikes,to the west then out front(to nw) was listening to the sound radio station when I heard it.quite a good station.

I can confirm Pea sized Hail here there was about 2 refreezes looking at the hail, boy it was loud......

Holy ****! Just had hail and gales with a cg hit the trees on our farm. Was mental. A few mintues later and 2 massive blue flashes appeared in the sky towards Tim's and now we have no power.

It's all obscured lightning. Nothing like you guys had the other night. Wish I got a photo of that cg tho. And a photo of the electric blue across the sky as the power went out. Power back on now. Will be interested to hear which transformer blew cause tim saw it too but didn't loose power
