Air is really dry but still, am always keen for something if it gets going. Brief storms around midday but nothing to really get that excited about and sink your teeth into. Only heard one rumble and that was it.

Ive just got back from a few days down Alexandra and my wife told me there was thunder close by on Friday, dam and i had to be away .
On the way back today went through one heavy hail shower just south of Timaru and a snow shower near Ranfury.

nice wee shower came over just before, and as it has gone past alot of virga coming from it or mamatus, witch ever u prefer

Got a graupelly shower @ 6:20pm with a slight burst of the SW. You could see it coming in a form of a type of virga of which term I won't explain as it's a bit rude and only suitable for adults .
