-2.4°C this morning - some high cloud stopped the temp dropping below freezing until after midnight.

it was -3.0 here at 3am, i can only assume it went a bit lower...

More June like temps this morning with -6.2deg and -7.7 ground frost.

As per usual the NW sprang up last night and it got nowhere near the forecast of -4C, currently 0.2C, Darfield the same. Hopefully the metservice will start to put up darfield's maximum temp for the day, they have been 6-8C too low the last 2 days and today looks the same...

Just -0.8°C here as an overnight low - there was a light W breeze from 2am until 7am lifting temps by 3°C .

Yep same down this way, the last few days Metservice has been at least 4-6 degrees out with there forecast highs and today is the same, Forecast high of 8 today for Timaru yet its currently 12c.

To keep on topic we had a frost this morning with -2.2 the low.

Frosts 2013

Feeling about zero out there in Riccarton at the moment. I flew into chch after the sun had set which was a shame. I wanted to see the snow on the alps from up high.

-4.4 air temp and -6deg ground temp ,trickytiger's is showing -3.7,so much for the -10deg

yep nowhere near the -10 this morning although pretty decent frost, sliding door was frozen shut this morning and car got a good frost on it.

Forecast minimum of -6C (!) for Chch tonight. Already -0.6C at Jeff's.

Its -6.2deg along with a -7.5 ground frost here and we've lost our cold water to the house for the first time this winter

Not as cold as yesterday with -5.2,couldn't be bothered kneeling down to see what the ground temp was,too bloody cold :B

Good frost on the grass and even patches on the pavement this morning but only down to -0.7°C.
